True Worship

Job 1

20 Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head and fell on the ground and worshiped. 21 And he said, “Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”

22 In all this Job did not sin or charge God with wrong.

That "in all this" is only referring to the situation Job (out of nowhere) found himself in- the instant where news broke to him that he had lost his: oxen donkeys servants sheep camels sons and daughters...

What is your response to the great and terrible things in life?

We should pray, that like Job, we would have such a perspective on it all that we cling to truth and worship God for who He is.

ONEthought: God is always worthy of worship, whatever comes your way in this life...
